Larry Gilespie is a world
class trumpet player and jazz musician. He obtained his musical
training at the New England Music Conservatory and studied under world
famous musicians including Graham Young, Uan Rasey, Bobby Shew, George
Graham, and Charley Davis.
Larry's experience includes
such achievements as touring North America and Europe as lead trumpet
player with the late great Ray Charles, touring with the legendary Woody
Herman Big Band, performances in such Broadway hits as "How To Succeed
In Business Without Really Trying," "Into The Woods," "Oklahoma," "The
Music Man. Larry has also performed with various Big Bands, Latin Bands,
Top 40 Bands, Dixieland Bands, and Brass Quintets and has accompanied
some of the most famous recording artists, including Mel Torme, Dianna
Ross and Roberta Flack. Larry's amazing range on the trumpet and
his strong bright tone anchor the vibrant horn section of our band.
